Aircraft Handling and Fuel (AvGas / Jet A1)

AIRCRAFT HANDLING - Liverpool Airport operates a mandatory policy for all non-based aircraft operators to obtain Prior Permission (PPR) and to nominate a Handling Agent. Ravenair's associate company Liverpool Aviation Services (LAS) is the only handling agent dedicated to General & Business Aviation at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Our operations staff have access to a number of flight planning packages together with access to weather briefing from many vendors to ensure that pilots have the most up-to-date weather reports, NOTAMS and other information required for trip planning. The company also has dedicated access direct to the EuroControl Slot Allocation System via the internet.

Ravenair / LAS holds a separate clearance approval for Control Authority Clearance at the Business Aviation Centre for Customs, Immigration and Special Branch. Pre-notification of crew and passenger details will normally ensure that you will have a fast track route through our facility at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. This is applicable for EEC Nationals flying on flights within the EEC. Ravenair / LAS can also pre-notify all other flights with Non-EEC crew/passengers, or flights originating outside the EEC, to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.

FUEL - Ravenair has entered into a long term management agreement with Shell Aviation for the provision of fuelling commercial aircraft at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The company also operates dedicated vehicles for both Avgas 100LL and Jet A1 fuel grades for Business and General Aviation customers to ensure that fuel is available immediately, thus avoiding extended ground time and ensuring your aircraft keeps to its planned schedule.
