CITY AIRPORT MANCHESTER - BARTON AERODROME - Situated 10 miles from Manchester City Centre, Barton Aerodrome is conveniently located alongside the M60 motorway, to the West of Eccles on the A57. Barton is a licensed aerodrome and has full cover from the airfield's RFFS. The aerodrome is operational for fixed winged aircraft during daylight hours only.

The Ravenair Flying School operates from the Airfield Clubhouse, which is located just off the main visitors' car parking area.

The Clubhouse also includes Melvin's Cafe & Bar, which is open to the general public and visiting aircrew, providing good food and a wide range of beverages. The venue is also available for corporate events.
