Ravenair will be holding an Open Day at Liverpool John Lennon Airport on Saterday 18th February. There will be talks on how to obtain a Pilot's Licence and the Path to Becoming an Airline Pilot. As well as a presentation by Propilot, who are ATPL groundschool based in Coventry. It will be the perfect opportunity for any budding aviators to have their questions answered by Flight Instructors and the chance to look around our aircraft, facilities and to see our simulator in action. RAVENAIR SPECIAL OFFER FOR HOUR BUILDING - EXPIRED

We are offering 500 hours at £66 per hour including fuel and vat! These will be sold on a first come first served basis the next batch will probably increase by 5%.People on existing discount rates will also be charged at this price with effect from 17th July. No minimum quantity, however a check at the same rate will be required for newcomers or at the discretion of the CFI. Current members of other flying schools will be accepted for 3 months at no extra charge however a membership form will have to be completed in the normal way. No credit will be given and the usual surcharge for credit cards will apply (3% surcharge). Fuel uplifted away from Liverpool base will be credited at £1.55 per litre the only charge will be for landing fees. This rate applies to PA38 aircraft only - further promotional rates will be published for the open day.

Come and see us at The Aviation Society's 'Aviation and Transport Fair' which is to be held at the viewing park Manchester Airport on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July 2011. You will find us underneath Concorde where we will be more than happy to answer any questions you have on flight training and becoming a pilot whether for fun or as a career.

CLOSURE OF RAVENAIR BARTON FLYING SCHOOL & ENGINEERING

We regret to announce that our flying school and engineering operations at Barton Aerodrome will cease on 31st Jul 2011. We have not taken this decision lightly and the decision was made as a result of a review of the commercial viability at the site due to costs and a reduction in business.
