Flying School - Price Review Sep-2026
Dear Customer,
As with most businesses, we conduct a yearly review of our pricing structure to ensure that our costs are adequately covered. We normally conduct this earlier in the year, however due to the unrest in the Middle East and the knock-on effect that this has on fuel price, we have delayed this review until now.
On a positive note, the supply of fuel appears to have stabilised, as has its price. This means that from 01/09/2026, we can remove the fuel surcharge which is currently being added to all flights. Please note that that this will remain for customers who have already purchased a package, as these were purchased when fuel was significantly cheaper than it currently is.
Unfortunately, our review has meant that prices will need to be increased as of 01/09/2026. Over recent years, we have experienced significant increases across our cost base, including aircraft operating costs, maintenance, fuel, insurance, facilities, equipment and other essential services. We have absorbed these increases for as long as possible in order to minimise the impact on our customers.
We know that this is never welcome news, however it is necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability of the business, and for us to provide the high-quality training that we are known for.
We do not take decisions like this lightly, and we really appreciate the continued support of our dedicated customers. We remain committed to providing the highest quality training.
Kind regards,
Ravenair - Flying School
